Update, 4:46 p.m.: The tornado warning for Orange County has been canceled. There are many reports of trees down across the county.

Orange County will remain under a tornado warning until 5 p.m. at the latest, according to the last Alert Carolina message. All University operations are currently suspended.
The Town of Chapel Hill's Twitter account reported that power is out at Town Hall and large trees have been knocked down.

As of 4:38 p.m., the Duke Energy Outage Map was reporting around 100 customers without power. The Daily Tar Heel office at 151 E. Rosemary St. briefly lost power.
