UPDATE, 4:07 p.m.: The University will return to Condition 1 at 5 p.m., meaning all classes after 5 p.m. will be canceled. UNC will be back on schedule Tuesday at 6 a.m.


UPDATE: UNC has canceled class until 3:20 p.m. and will reassess at that time. 

Chapel Hill Transit is operating all routes, but many are experiencing significant delays. The A, CCX and RU do have detours. 

Rams Head Dining Hall and Lenoir Dining Hall both opened this morning. Starbucks and Rams Head Market are also open. Everything else is closed. 


UPDATE, 9:42 p.m.: Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools and Orange County Schools are closed for students on Monday.


UNC will reduce operations at 11:30 p.m. but will not make the call for Condition 2 or 3 until 5:30 a.m. Monday, according to an email sent out Sunday evening. The University will reassess the weather Monday morning and make the call to cancel classes or reduce operations further.

Chapel Hill Transit currently has no plans to alter routes unless roads become unsafe for travel, according to an email sent out at 5:54 p.m.
