As of 10:45 p.m. with 44 out of 44 precincts reporting, N.C. State Board of Elections unofficial election results show:

  • Mark Marcoplos has won the at-large seat on the Board of Orange County Commissioners with 46.7 percent. 
  • Incumbents Penny Rich and Mark Dorosin have reclaimed the two open District 1 seats with 37.6 percent and 30 percent of the vote, respectively. 
  • Incumbent Renee Price has reclaimed the one open District 2 seat with 60.7 percent of the vote.

The N.C. Board of Elections website notes that in Orange County, 43.4 percent of registered voters turned out to vote in the precincts that have already reported.

Note: No Republican candidates are running in the primary for Orange County commissioner seats.
