After helping lead North Carolina to the national championship game on Monday, Joel Berry hopes to make a return trip to the Final Four next season.
The sophomore point guard will return for his junior season, Inside Carolina reported on Friday morning.
During the 2015-16 season, Berry finished second on the team with 12.8 points per game. He also led the Tar Heels with 3.8 assists per game, 1.5 steals per game and a 38.2 3-point percentage.
He became the first sophomore in program history to earn ACC Tournament MVP honors after averaging 17 points in three tournament games.
