The University was granted an extra week by the NCAA to respond to its amended notice of allegations.
Originally, the University was given 90 days to respond to the notice, until July 24, before the extension was granted — they will now be responding Aug. 1, making their response public Aug. 2. The amended NOAs cite former philosophy professor Jan Boxil's roll in the academic misconduct. The notice does not reference football or men's basketball.
According to a University news release, the change in response date does not indicate a change in the allegations or any new information.
