First-year Louis Rabinowitz and his father, James Rabinowitz, said they were involved in a minor car accident with a Chapel Hill Transit bus on Monday around 6:30 p.m. The bus was on the A route on campus.
No one was injured in the accident.
Louis Rabinowitz said they were in the rightmost lane, about to turn onto South Road from Stadium Drive, when the bus tried to turn left from the right turn lane. He said the bus brushed against their car, tearing off a portion of the front bumper of the car.
Campus police were on the scene and one of the officers said it was a minor accident.
