In part one of this series, we looked at what happened during the hour Chelsea Slegal and Lisa Kukla were held hostage at East Chapel Hill High School on April 24, 2006.
Ten years after being held hostage in her high school, Slegal says she's taking things day by day. She still has flashbacks sometimes. When there's a thunderstorm and flashes of lighting, she remembers the gunshots.
Kukla left her job as a teacher at East Chapel Hill High School not long after the incident. She says that the school district tried to downplay what happened that day.
