Here are some Dark Kermit memes to power you through finals

If you use the internet, you’ve probably seen the Dark Kermit memes. They came out of nowhere and are now unavoidable on all forms of social media.  

It's really weird how an innocent muppet from our childhood became the dark side of our conscience, but I guess Kermit grew up and became jaded, just like the rest of us.

The best part about them, though, is how incredibly relatable they are.

These memes are so great and we can all seriously relate to at least one, especially as college students.

These are some of my favorites, the ones I think are most applicable to us.

So we thank you, Dark Kermit, for always keeping us honest to ourselves. 

You’re always there to encourage us to get that late night pizza we want or to send that text we're going to regret in the morning. 

And you’re always there when we want to nap instead of go to class. (Sorry, professors!)

Despite how great — and tempting — Dark Kermit is, don’t let your “inner you” have too much power this close to finals. 

Study hard and maybe ignore your inner self for a week or two, so we can all let our Dark Kermit selves run wild over winter break.
