Police log for Nov. 29, 2016

• Someone reported a breaking and entering of a vehicle and attempted larceny on the 300 block of St. Thomas Drive at 11:40 a.m. Friday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

• Someone reported a breaking and entering of a vehicle and attempted larceny on the 700 block of Tinkerbell Road at 10:32 a.m. Thursday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

• Someone reported a breaking and entering of a vehicle and attempted larceny on the 100 block of Bay Colony Court at 11:45 a.m. Thursday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

• Someone reported larceny of a cell phone at Top of the Hill at 100 E. Franklin St. at 11:25 a.m. Thursday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

The person stole the cell phone, valued at $600, after the victim left it sitting on the curb outside of the restaurant, reports state. 

• Someone possessed drug paraphernalia on the 1200 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard at 2:43 a.m. Thursday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

• Someone reported a breaking and entering of a vehicle and attempted larceny on the 100 block of Forsyth Drive at 4:35 a.m. Thursday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

The person broke the rear passenger window, valued at $300, with a rock, reports state. 

• Someone reported a breaking and entering of a vehicle on the 200 block of Standish Drive at 1:34 p.m. Friday, according to Chapel Hill police reports. 

The person entered the unlocked vehicle, but they did not take anything and left the door partially open, reports state.
