Police log for Jan. 31, 2017

• Someone reported loud music and a party on the 100 block of Kenan Street at 12:24 a.m. Friday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

• Someone reported larceny at Goodfellows at 149 E. Franklin St. at 1:16 a.m. Friday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

The person stole a purse and removed the wallet, valued at $64 total, reports state. 

• Someone disturbed the peace on the 100 block of East Rosemary Street at 3:11 a.m. Friday, according to Chapel Hill police reports. 

• Someone reported larceny on the 1700 block of Michaux Road at 5:57 p.m. Friday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

The person stole a youth-size basketball goal, valued at $62.84, from in front of the residence, reports state. 

• Someone reported loud music and a party on the 100 block of Stinson Street at 9:26 a.m. Friday, according to Chapel Hill police reports. 

• Someone broke and entered with force on the 400 block of Highview Drive at 11:58 a.m. Friday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

The person forcefully entered the back door, causing $350 of damage, and stole $775 worth of items, including an Xbox and iPod Touch, reports state. 

• Someone committed larceny on the 800 block of Ward Street at 3:35 p.m. Friday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

The person stole a reflector and a number off of the mailbox, valued at $15 total, reports state.
