All Up In Your Business: Mystery Brewing Public House to reopen after expansion

Mystery Brewing Public House in Hillsborough, North Carolina, just closed its doors.

Mystery Brewing Public House in Hillsborough, North Carolina, just closed its doors.

Recently, Mystery Brewing Public House closed for reconstruction to expand into the space located next door and to install a kitchen and more seating.

Their official grand reopening of the public house is scheduled for Feb. 25, which conveniently overlaps with Mystery Brewing Company’s fifth birthday.

With the reopening of the pub, some changes have been made. Previously, the Public House was only able to serve food like meat and cheeses. However, at the renovated location, they will have a full menu.

“Our focus for the menu is to have seasonally rotating dishes made with ingredients from local farms and suppliers that pair well with that season’s lineup of Mystery beers,” said Lindsay Sebastian, director of marketing and public relations for Mystery Brewing Company.

The new menu will be released at lunch on Feb. 25 and will contain a full tap list, including all of their seasonal favorites.

For the Public House's grand reopening and the Mystery Brewing Company’s fifth birthday, the company released a year-round beer, called the Golden Hind, which they believe maintains the creativity of their seasonal beers. Along with this year-round beer, they are adding new wine options.

The night of the reopening will feature a live performance from Berlin Brothers, who will be playing a special set with songs by Irving Berlin.
