Someone followed the victim and looked through the bedroom window, reports state.

• Someone committed larceny from Brown's Paint and Hardware at 420 W. Franklin St. at 8:37 a.m. Friday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

The person stole two rental checks and two checkbooks valued at $3,401, reports state.

• Someone committed larceny on the 100 block of Northfield Drive at 12:46 p.m. Saturday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

The person stole a license plate, worth $50, from the back of a vehicle, reports state.

• Someone reported loud music and a party on the 300 block of Lindsay Street at 12:41 a.m. Saturday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

• Someone committed larceny on the 100 block of Caldwell Street at 10:04 a.m. Saturday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

The person stole a stop sign, worth $100, reports state.
