The best experience at Late Night with Roy and our Tar Heels wasn’t only the raising of the banner to celebrate a national championship, as that happens every year around the country.
The truly special moment that defined the evening was when former player Kenny Smith turned to Coach Roy Williams and said that Coach Dean Smith would be so proud of him.
The word 'mentor' is one of those words in life that come full circle as you can go from having a mentor to becoming a mentor for others.
When you have that atmosphere with that kind of philosophy, a uniquely distinct ethos is felt among people, groups and institutions as we are all moved to live life with a greater and higher purpose.
