TO THE EDITOR:
(On the weekend of Oct. 7), my family and I made our first-ever trip to UNC for the N.D. game.
The welcoming, friendly greetings that we received from so many UNC students, alums and fans were second to none.
I have traveled to several away games for my school and never had a better experience, thanks to the people of UNC.
As I mentioned to one fan as we were checking out of our hotel (who asked if we enjoyed our trip) — my son told us he now wants to go to UNC, which is probably the best compliment we can give about our experience.
Thank you for the amazing hospitality and we cannot wait to come back again.
