Word on the Street: What are you going to do with your extra hour?

Brooks Langley

This Sunday, Nov. 5 at 2 a.m., Daylight Saving Time ends and clocks get set back an hour. For UNC students, this means saying goodbye to walking to morning classes in the dark. It also means gaining an extra hour this weekend.

Staff writer Maeve Sheehey asked UNC students, “What are you going to do with your extra hour?”

First-year Tazche Turner

“I’ll probably sleep. Yup, that’s going to be the most definite thing I’m going to do — sleep in.”

Senior Nishanth Shah

First-year Svetlana Nesteruk
