Police Log for May 26-28, 2018

  • Someone reported a domestic disturbance on the 1000 block of U.S. 15-501 at 12:34 a.m. on Saturday, according to Chapel Hill police reports. 

The reports state that the person causing the disturbance had returned home drunk and angry, but did not commit an assault.

  • Someone reported larceny of mail on the 500 block of Whitaker Street at 2:22 p.m. on Saturday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

A package containing a pink, green and white pair of Nike Air Max shoes valued at $161 was delivered to the wrong address and stolen from the front stoop, reports state.

  • Someone reported suspicious conditions on the 300 block of West Franklin Street at 1:30 a.m. on Monday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

The report states that the suspect was riding another suspicious bicycle after a short stay around other males.
