  • A disturbance of the peace was reported on the 400 block of Market Street at 4:54 p.m. on Friday, according to Chapel Hill Police reports. 

The report states the suspect was yelling about not being late for a doctor's appointment at the UNC Dermatology Medical Facility.


  • A case of breaking and entering and larceny from a vehicle was reported on the 100 block of Glenmore Road at 7:01 a.m. on Monday, according to Chapel Hill Police reports.

The report states the suspect stole a Springfield handgun valued at $350 and an iPod Touch valued at $100 from the vehicle.


  • Someone reported a civil dispute on the 100 block of Aquatic Drive at 4:41 p.m. on Monday, according to Chapel Hill Police reports.

The report states the suspects involved were having a dispute over the victim's pet's medical bill.


  • A case of breaking and entering and larceny from a vehicle was reported on the 400 block of Cotton Street at 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday, according to Chapel Hill Police reports.

The report states the suspect stole only a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses valued at $150.


  • Someone was arrested for the possession of stolen goods on the 300 block of Franklin Street at 3:23 a.m. on Tuesday, according to Chapel Hill Police reports.

The report states the suspect, an employee at Mellow Mushroom, had a stolen gun in their vehicle. The suspect claimed the gun was theirs and was held under bond at Orange County Jail. The incident occurred at Mellow Mushroom.
