  • Found property was reported on the 1400 block of E. Franklin Street at 2:20 p.m. on Friday, according to Chapel Hill Police reports. 

The report states a BB gun valued at $150 was found.


  • Someone reported larceny in the form of shoplifting on the 100 block of W. Franklin Street at 8:06 p.m. on Friday, according to Chapel Hill Police reports. 

The report states the suspect attempted to shoplift home items, including towels, cocoa butter and Suave Hair Care, from Target. The items were valued at a total of $48.24.


  • An automobile theft was reported on the 100 block of Fraternity Court at 3:42 p.m. on Saturday, according to Chapel Hill Police reports.

The report states the suspect stole a 2015 Mercedes E 350 valued at $30,000.


  • Someone reported drunk and disruptive trespassing on the 100 block of E. Franklin Street at 3:59 a.m. on Sunday, according to Chapel Hill Police reports.

The suspect was reported as being intoxicated and causing a disturbance at Waffle House.


  • A suspicious condition was reported on the 100 block of Hillspring Lane at 10:59 a.m. on Sunday, according to Chapel Hill Police reports.

The report states the suspect was found sleeping in the victim's garage.
