  • A person was arrested for possession of marijuana on the 100 block of W. Franklin Street at 9:54 p.m., according to Chapel Hill Police reports. 

The report states the suspect was charged with simple possession of marijuana.

  • Suspicious activity was reported on the 1700 block of Fordham Boulevard at 1:10 a.m. on Wednesday, according to Chapel Hill Police reports. 

The report states the suspect was suspiciously purchasing a gift card from a pharmacy.

  • Someone reported a loud party on the 100 block of W. Longview Street at 8:18 p.m. on Wednesday, according to Chapel Hill Police reports. 

The report states the suspect had a loud party and threw objects into the roadway.

  • A call for service was reported on N. Merritt Mill Road at 8:42 p.m. on Wednesday, according to Chapel Hill Police reports. 

The report states the suspect needed assistance with finding a bus back to Durham.
