There was a report of simple assault outside of Lenoir Dining Hall Tuesday, said Media Relations Manager for UNC Public Safety Randy Young in an email to The Daily Tar Heel.
The perpetrator was identified and caught, Young said.
An Alert Carolina message was not released.
“There’s no ongoing threat to campus,” Young said. “Charges are pending.”
