Women’s Soccer
The No. 1 seed in ACC Championship play made swift work of eighth-seeded Virginia Tech this past Sunday and faces Clemson in the semifinals on Friday. The two teams square off at WakeMed Soccer Park at 5:30 p.m. UNC defeated Clemson, 1-0, earlier this season and, with a victory on Friday, will move on to the championship on Sunday at noon.
Women’s Tennis
The last time fans saw the women’s tennis team play, the squad took home the singles and doubles titles in the ITA Carolina Regional on Oct. 22. Beginning Friday, the Tar Heels host the Kitty Harrison Invitational, with play running through Sunday.
At last season’s tournament, two Tar Heels took home fourth place in the singles competition.
Men’s Basketball
For the first time this season, fans will get to see the No. 8 men’s basketball team play a game at the Smith Center, as the team hosts Mount Olive in a final exhibition tune up on Friday night.
The Tar Heels begin play at 7:30 p.m. to give fans an up close view of first-year players Nassir Little, Coby White and Leaky Black before the team gets the ball rolling with a regular-season game at Wofford on Tuesday.
Fencing
The fencing team opened its season at the Temple Open in Philadelphia last weekend and heads back to Pennsylvania for its second event of the season on Saturday. Both the men and women compete in the Garrett Penn State Open in University Park.
Rowing
The rowing team heads south for the first time this year to compete in the Head of the Hooch Regatta in Chattanooga, Tenn. It's the squad's third race of the year.

Last season, UNC finished fifth in the Women's Championship eights event at the competition.
Wrestling
The wrestling team kicks off its 2018-2019 campaign with the Hokie Open in Roanoke, Va., on Sunday. Last season, A.C. Headlee and Troy Heilmann took titles at 141 and 149 pounds, respectively.
Headlee returns as a redshirt junior to lead the Tar Heel squad this season.
Men's Soccer
The No. 2 seed in the ACC Championship faces Virginia Tech on Sunday at 1 p.m. The game marks the first time the men's soccer team has played at Finley Fields South in Chapel Hill this season.
In addition to the game being a postseason contest, it will also serve as Senior Day after last Friday's season finale was canceled due to rain.
