I've been listening to a lot of the artists on this playlist lately with the start of the new semester. There were some really big changes in my life, and I had to make a couple of hard choices. The music these artists put out helped me calm down and get through a lot of that, whether it was the catharsis in "New Friends" by Pinegrove, or the gospel choir refrain at the end of "LOLSMH" by EARTHGANG.
Aside from that, I've always enjoyed how mellow but interesting most of the tracks are. They help me get my work done without sucking me in too much. I like a lot of variety in my music, so this playlist covers genres from R&B to folk rock.
