Chapel Hill

  • Someone reported loud music or a party on the 50 block of Davie Circle at 12:45 a.m. on Thursday, according to Chapel Hill Police reports.

The report states the suspect was talking loudly.

  • A larceny was reported on the 1000 block of N.C. Hwy 54 at 10:03 a.m. on Thursday, according to Chapel Hill Police reports.

The report states the suspect took a package off the victim's doorstep. The package contained a motorcycle helmet valued at $66.

  • A larceny from a motor vehicle was reported on the 300 block of New Parkside Drive at 10:05 a.m. on Thursday, according to Chapel Hill Police reports.

The report states the suspect cut the ratchet straps and removed a tool box from the bed of the vehicle, which included a circular saw, nailer, reciprocating saw, angle grinder, multi tool and two amp hour batteries. The items were valued at a total of $1,215.

Carrboro

  • A second degree burglary and larceny after breaking and entering were reported at the 100 block of Pine Street at 11:05 a.m. on Thursday, according to Carrboro Police reports.

The report states the suspect broke into the victim's home and stole a pressure washer valued at $400, a saw valued at $200 and a drill valued at $50.
