This is the time of the year defined as the second semester slump.
The weather can’t decide what season it is, we’re counting down the days until spring break and essays really are hitting different.
During class, my professor made eye contact with me, and then said that because we looked tired we could go home early. I felt seen, both literally and metaphorically.
Lately I’ve been getting out of bed, and honestly I’m not sure if my mitochondria is producing ATP. I’m not a biology major, but I have medically diagnosed myself with slumped.
That’s why it’s important more now than ever to have good vibes only.
It’s time to appreciate the little things, which for me means breaking out the Hawaiian shirts and enjoying the sun.
I have created a playlist of songs that have personally passed my vibe check and are guaranteed to give you some serotonin.
