The Town of Carrboro's Recreation, Parks, & Cultural Resources indoor programs and reservations will be suspended through Jan. 30 in response to rising omicron cases, the department announced Tuesday.

The department will contact those who are currently signed up for programs and events with an update on possible rescheduling.

"The town will continue to work with local officials to monitor the current public health situation and additional schedule updates will be provided as needed," the statement read.

Prorated account credits will be available for activities that cannot be rescheduled, and administrative fees will be waived for programs impacted by the suspension.

For additional questions, contact the Recreation, Parks & Cultural Resources department at 919-918-7364.
