On Thursday, UNC sophomore guard D’Marco Dunn entered the transfer portal, according to Inside Carolina.
In two seasons with the Tar Heels, Dunn averaged 1.9 points per game and shot 38.1 percent from the field. This past season, Dunn featured in 27 games, averaging 2.7 points in 10.3 minutes per game.
Dunn had his best outing last season at Louisville, where he scored 14 points, shooting just over 70 percent from the field and helping the Tar Heels to an 80-59 win.
Dunn becomes the seventh player to enter the transfer portal this offseason, following Caleb Love, Puff Johnson, Tyler Nickel, Dontrez Styles, Will Shaver and Justin McKoy. Head coach Hubert Davis now has three open scholarship spots heading into the 2023-24 season.
