UNC Police report two instances of peeping in Phillips Hall bathroom, charges pending

Update 6/06/2023, 10:00 a.m.: The suspect has been identified and charges are pending, according to UNC Police, who is handling the case.

Earlier today, UNC Police received two reports of a man peeping in the third-floor women's restroom of Phillips Hall, according to an Alert Carolina sent at 3:36 p.m. 

The reports were received between 11:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. today.

The suspect has not been found. The alert describes the suspect as "a 6'1" Black male with no facial hair wearing a blue hoodie, grey or white gym shorts, a bookbag with black straps and a black baseball cap."

An investigation is ongoing and no further information is available at this time.
