Former Alabama forward Jarin Stevenson will transfer to UNC men's basketball for the 2025-26 season, Jeff Goodman of The Field of 68 reported on Sunday night.
In his sophomore season with the Crimson Tide, the Chapel Hill native averaged 5.4 points and 3.4 rebounds, shooting 42.9 percent from the field and 30.7 from 3-point range.
The 6-foot-11, former four-star prospect ranked the second-best recruit of his class out of North Carolina and received interest from the Tar Heels out of high school, but ultimately committed to Alabama where he spent two seasons. He averaged 18.7 minutes during the 2024-25 season.
Stevenson offers UNC both size as a power forward — an area that stunted North Carolina this season — and shooting. He is the fourth transfer that head coach Hubert Davis has landed.
