This 1993 documentary shows director Chantal Akerman’s journey through East Germany, Poland and Russia. The film has little dialogue and serves as a portrait of Eastern Europe in the early 1990s. The Ackland is presenting the film as a part of the ongoing Ackland Film Forum. It was programmed by the Germanic and Slavic Languages and Literatures department.
