What do I do when I’m craving grilled garlic and herb shrimp, but being the sad college student I am, I don’t have the time or the kitchen to make it? I go online.
I cook and eat vicariously through some of my favorite cooking channels on YouTube. To be honest, I really don’t care about their recipes.
These clips just help me cope with stress and get through the semester:
1. Food Wishes
Chef John from Foodwishes.com is a mysterious cook who features his amazing cooking skills and hilarious puns in his videos. He’d say something like, “You’re the boss, of your sauce.” HAHAHA.
2. Sorted Food
These four English guys know what they’re doing. Their playlist contains some of the most creative and extensive contents, including cooking life hacks, mug recipes, crazy competitions and more! Oh, and you can’t miss the Eye Candy playlist.
3. How to Cake It
Speaking of eye candies, Yolanda is the master of arts and crafts for cakes. She makes everything out of cake — even sushi! She also has her own line of cake T-shirts that you can win by estimating the time it takes her to bake one cake.
4. Byron Talbott
Byron Talbot manages to look good while he cooks. Plus, he’s a sweet dad and husband. As Tjandralala says in the comments, this is why you should date a chef.
5. Honeykki
If you’re not into chatty videos, Honeykki is for you. This Korean lady doesn’t even have voiceovers, but still amazes you with her dishes. All the information is available in the subtitles and her selections of Korean, sometimes Japanese food, and even dessert is too good that it hurts to watch.
