Monsters of Folk kicks off Dive TV this week with a video for their heavy self-titled album track, "Dear God." The video itself is appropriately grandiose, zooming in from the stars all the way to the inside of a hand. Maybe I would have paid more attention in my high school Biology class if the educational videos had looked like this:
Next is a video for Band of Horses, and their song "Compliments," which you can find on their upcoming album Infinite Arms. It's pretty simple, shots of nature twisting and shifting into other shots of nature —‚kind of like Planet Earth on steroids. Viewers prone to motion sickness should watch with caution.
Last up is a video for "Flash Delirium," the first video for MGMT's highly anticipated sophomore album, Congratulations. This Friday's Dive Party will incorporate a listening event for this new record complete with giveaways. I can't describe the insane concept of this video well enough to get you to watch it, except to say that the name should be changed to "Flash Delirium — Or That One Time We Dropped Acid In A Retirement Community."
