Dirty Projectors “Impregnable Questions” Video
If you didn’t catch Dirty Projectors when they played on campus earlier this month, don’t stress. You can get your fix with its newest and strangest music video. “Impregnable Question” is the sixth and final video from album Swing Lo Magellan. The video features a lone man on his quest to run for a really long time along with a cheerleader carrying buckets of soda up a mountain. Seriously strange, seriously entertaining.
So you’ve waited and waited for the much anticipated release of Arcade Fire’s newest album Reflektor and the time has finally arrived. The band is streaming their album for free all over the internet. Check out the full 85-minute record, set to the 1959 film “Black Orpheus.”
Paul McCartney “Queenie Eye” Video
When you’re one of the most famous rock stars of all time, you can get even more celebrities to star in your music videos. Well at least that’s the case for Sir Paul McCartney’s new single “Queenie Eye”. The accompanying video features, among others, Jonny Depp, Kate Moss, Tom Ford, Sean Penn and Meryl Street all awkwardly hanging around a recording studio . If thats not enough for you, the music is obviously fantastic, too.
TV On The Radio’s Runde Adebimpe participated in Rookie’s recurring feature, “Ask A Grown Man,” in which adult male celebrities answer ridiculous questions from teenage girls. Adebimpe gives some very level-headed advice about how to ask a guy out and the signs of a failing relationship. What is even more surprising is that he is able to get through the video without bursting out into laughter once.
