Lauren’s outfit is the perfect example of how to wear the dress and boots combination when the weather gets colder. Just add tights and a fitted jacket and you can still wear your favorite dress in the winter. Lauren said she her inspiration for fashion comes from fashion blogs and from reading Vogue magazine but also from shopping at consignment stores. Her outfit is an awesome example of how to look at glossy magazines featuring very expensive clothes and make the outfits realistic for a college student by buying vintage clothes.
Lauren had a particularly good tip for everyone, even those who don’t like fashion. She said, “If you’re in a bad mood, dress up.” This tip really is useful because it is so easy to just wear an oversize sweatshirt to class, but just think about how much better you will feel if you put some effort into your outfit.
