Maya’s outfit is effortless and cool, which makes it perfect for the weather outside. Maya said she gets a lot of her fashion inspiration by just looking at what people wear around campus. She tends to shop in a variety of stores, but especially at Urban Outfitters and at thrift stores for jewelry. I am particularly jealous of Maya’s dress because not only is it a great piece, but it’s also one-of-a-kind because her mom made it. Maya said she has been waiting to wear a dress with boots for a long time and now the weather is perfect for the dress and boots combination.
Maya’s style advice: “Wear what you want. For example, if everyone else is dressing preppy, it doesn’t mean you have to be preppy.”
