The best Uber ride I ever had was on New Year's Eve.
The driver, whose name I do not remember due to my own rudeness, was blasting smooth jazz with the back seats reclined to an initially chill but ultimately uncomfortable low.
He had little burlap sacks with lotion dispensers strapped to the back of the two front seats, something you would absolutely never think you need from a rideshare service.
I complimented them. He stopped the car in my apartment complex and yelled "I'm from Canada, almost Canada" over the jazz.
I told my friends the only way the ride could have been more memorable is if the prices were lower. Uber must have caught word of my challenge, because they are lowering prices for winter.
Next up, Uber — I formally challenge you to make a game show like "Cash Cab." Or just add a disco lights option in all vehicles.

The Graduate and Professional Student Federation passed a resolution proposing to establish itself as a governing body separate from the undergraduate student government. They will now have to obtain 2,900 signatures by Feb. 2 at 5 p.m. for the bill to be placed on the ballot in the spring elections. I'm gonna flex the one opinion I am allowed to have as a "journalist" — vote vote vote!
