I've never been punched. I like my fights to be verbal and/or on Twitter.
One time in sixth grade, I beat one of my loudmouthed male classmates in an inflatable boxing ring. He was a bully and I was very proud of myself for winning and for avoiding each of his swings.
After I knocked him straight on his tail on the bouncy turf, he told me and all of our friends that he just let me win because I was a girl.
I was so embarrassed that he said that in front of all the jocks and popular girls, but deep down I was elated that if ever I were to fight someone again, I could easily hustle them.
Rameses hasn't been punched either, despite the rumors. But I'm confident he could win in a fight. His eyebrows are so scary.

IN UNIVERSITY NEWS
UNC will uphold its non-discrimination policy despite the passage of House Bill 2. The University has the right to do this because it is not a unit of local government or a political subdivision of the state. The UNC LGBTQ Center has a list of gender nonspecific bathrooms on its website to help relieve students of the anxiety they may face in choosing a bathroom.
IN NATIONAL NEWS
I have always thought that it's funny a local politician is named Roy Cooper because I thought there was a movie called "I Love You Roy Cooper," but it's actually "Beth," so I'm significantly less interested. Anyway, Roy Cooper has spoken out against House Bill 2, and now he's in a sort of cat fight with Pat McCrory.
IN BUSINESS NEWS
Another Chapel Hill business I loved has bitten the dust. Rest in peace, Peccadillo, my favorite (read: the only) speakeasy I've ever been too. I know you and Sakura are enjoying great business in the Great Shopping Center in the Sky. In other news, Chapel Hill-Carrboro is getting an Ulta and a Wax Poetic.
IN OUR OPINION
It's okay to spend your summer in Chapel Hill. Actually, it's freaking great! It's just like being here for the school year, minus a bunch of those pesky people. The lines for YoPo are much shorter, and Evana will be there.
IN THE BLOGS
One of the best things about being a second semester senior is all of the stickers you get. The second best thing is freedom from the fresh heck that is class registration. For those still afflicted, here's an explanation of the process through gifs. You will nod through the whole blog.
