IN REMEMBRANCE
UNC students and the Chapel Hill-Carrboro community held events to remember the 16th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks.
- ROTC members from across military branches, firefighters and other gathered early Monday morning in Kenan Stadium to run 2,076 stairs in remembrance of those who died in the attacks.
- Chapel Hill and Carrboro remembered the events of 9/11 through a car wash for police officers and remembrance services.
