North Carolina football coach Butch Davis will address the media today for the first time since news of the NCAA investigation into the football program broke last week.
Davis is among five area college coaches who will speak in Durham at the Pigskin Preview at the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club.
N.C. State’s Tom O’Brien, Duke’s David Cutcliffe, East Carolina’s Ruffin McNeill and N.C. Central’s Mose Rison will be on hand to speak at the luncheon at noon today.

Davis is expected to have no comment on any questions regarding the NCAA investigation. The UNC athletic department has yet to confirm if investigators are looking into the football program and all inquires have been directed to athletic director Dick Baddour.
