North Carolina beat the Campbell Camels in three sets today in Carmichael Arena.
The Tar Heels took an early lead in the first set, and beat Campbell by 10 points in the set. The Camels scored first in the second and third sets, but eventually fell to the Tar Heels, losing 25-14 in the second set and 25-20 in the third set.
The victory marks the 600th win for head coach Joe Sagula, who is in his 21st season as head coach at North Carolina.
On Friday, UNC fell in straight sets to No. 1 Penn State. It was the Nittany Lions’ 103-straight victory.
The Carolina Classic continues tonight at 7:30 with UNC taking on Villanova.
