North Carolina softball pitchers Lori Spingola and Sara Buchholz combined to throw a perfect game in UNC’s 3-0 defeat of UNC-Greensboro Friday night at Anderson Stadium.
Offensive production for the Tar Heels came from a double by Constance Orr that scored Tisha Mahon in the first inning and a two-run home run by the catcher Brittany McKinney in the 3rd inning. This was the first game of a double header, with the second game starting at 7 p.m on Friday.
