Here’s today’s update:
- The Elon football team, which plays UNC on Saturday, is trying to improve in its second year with Jason Swepson as head coach.
- Because of an unspecified eligibility issue, N.C. State cornerback C.J. Wilson is not listed on the team’s depth chart for its season opener against Tennessee.
- Even though it’s game week, Duke football coach David Cutcliffe was set to take a trip to Atlanta today to visit injured wide receiver Blair Holliday. Holiday suffered a major brain injury in a personal watercraft accident almost two months ago.
