Women’s soccer
When: 7 p.m. Friday vs. Florida; 3 p.m. Sunday vs. Montreal
Where: Both games will be played at Fetzer Field.
Storylines: The Tar Heel women are looking to bounce back from a loss to Portland.
How to watch: Friday’s game will be televised on ESPN3.
Volleyball
When: 7 p.m. Friday vs. Kentucky; 1 p.m. Saturday vs. Long Beach State; 6 pm. Saturday vs. Lipscomb
Where: All three games will be played in Lexington, Ky., as part of the University of Kentucky Classic.
Storylines: The team will open the season with its highest-ranked freshman class ever.

Men’s soccer
When: 7 p.m. Saturday vs. Gardner-Webb
Where: Fetzer Field.
Storylines: The men are looking to defend their national title from last season.

Field hockey
When: 11:30 a.m. Saturday vs. Michigan; 2 p.m. Sunday vs. Iowa
Where: Both games will be played at Wake Forest as part of the ACC-Big Ten Challenge.
Storylines: Despite losing five starters, the Tar Heels aren’t slowing down.
