- Despite being a man down, the North Carolina men’s soccer team was able to man up against Wofford Tuesday night, winning 1-0 after double overtime.
- Sports Editor Brandon Moree writes that defender Boyd Okwuonu was able to help keep the Terriers at bay.
- A biopsy confirmed that the tumor removed from Roy Williams’ right kidney is not cancerous. Williams will undergo a biopsy on the tumor on his left kidney next week.
- ESPN’s Robbi Pickeral writes that former UNC point guard Kendall Marshall has reached his sneaker dream, signing a multi-year endorsement deal with Jordan Brand.
- Last but certainly not least: In Tuesday’s 6-0 win against Davidson, the UNC field hockey team returned to its defensive fundamentals, Assistant Sports Editor Brooke Pryor writes.
