- Despite underwhelming attendance at Kenan Stadium in the season opener, North Carolina football coach Larry Fedora is dreaming of big home crowds in the future. Fedora said eventually he hopes people will have to “beg, borrow and steal” to get a ticket.
- North Carolina got Wake Forest’s attention with its 62-0 win against Elon. The Tar Heels will head to Winston-Salem on Saturday.
