The Tar Heels’ season opener will be Nov. 9 against Gardner-Webb and it is the first of 16 games to be played in the Smith Center this season.
Outside of conference play, the Tar Heels are playing just six teams away from Chapel Hill and three of those are about of the Maui Invitational Nov. 19-21.
As a part of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge, UNC will play at Indiana Nov. 27.
UNC will get another shot at UNLV, this time at home after the Runnin’ Rebels stunned the Tar Heels last season.
Conference play begins at Virginia on Jan. 6 and concludes March 9 when the Blue Devils come to the Smith Center.
This season’s ACC Tournament will be played in Greensboro March 14-17.
