Football
When: 3:00 p.m. Saturday vs. Wake Forest
Where: Winston-Salem.
Storylines: It’ll be the first ACC matchup for the Tar Heels this season.
How to watch: The game will be televised through a regional sports network.
Men’s soccer
When: 7 p.m. Saturday vs. Virginia Tech
Where: Fetzer Field
Storylines: The Tar Heels are coming off a pair of wins last weekend.
How to watch: The game will be available through ESPN3.
Women’s soccer
When: 5 p.m. Friday vs Marquette; 11 a.m. Sunday vs. San Diego.
Where: Both games will be played at Duke as part of the Duke Nike Classic.
Storylines: Freshman Summer Green has sparked the UNC offense.
Volleyball
When: 7 p.m. Friday vs. LSU; 12 p.m. Saturday vs. Western Michigan; 7:30 p.m. Saturday vs. Middle Tennessee State.
Where: All three games will be played in Chapel Hill.
Storylines: The Tar Heels are hosting the Carolina Classic.
Field hockey
When: 4 p.m. Friday vs. Delaware; 12 p.m. Sunday vs. Villanova
Where: Both games will be played in Newark, Del.
Storylines: The Tar Heels have a strong family support system.
Men’s golf
When: Friday through Sunday.
Where: The Tar Heels will play in Rocky Face, Ga., for the Carpet Capital Classic
Storylines: The team is beginning its fall campaign.
Women’s golf
When: Sunday through Tuesday.
Where: The Tar Heels will play in Hanahan, S.C., for the Cougar Classic.
Storylines: The women are kicking off their fall season as well.
