- Even though the Tar Heels are in Hawaii, the (Raleigh) News & Observer’s Andrew Carter writes that it’s all business for the men’s basketball team.
- UNC men’s soccer goalkeeper Scott Goodwin has never lost a penalty shootout, and he kept that streak alive as the Tar Heels advanced in the NCAA tournament, Sports Editor Brandon Moree writes.
- Meanwhile, Assistant Sports Editor Robbie Harms writes that the women’s soccer team advanced to the quarterfinals by beating Baylor.
