- Amidst the announcement that junior guard Leslie McDonald would serve a three-game suspension starting on Wednesday, sophomore guard PJ Hairston came up big against the Yellow Jackets, Senior Writer Kelly Parsons writes.
- Before the varsity matchup between the Tar Heels and Yellow Jackets, junior forward Learie Jones willed the UNC JV basketball team to a 98-88 victory against Massanutten Military Academy.
- After being sidelined for much of the fall, sophomore tennis player Caroline Price returned to action on Wednesday in a dominating fashion, Max Miceli writes.
- Sticking to the tennis court, Brandon Chase writes that the Phoenix of Elon and Spartans of UNC-Greensboro were no match for the UNC women’s tennis team on Wednesday.
