- Due to field conditions from this week’s weather, the UNC football team will not scrimmage in Greensboro tonight. Instead, the Tar Heels will scrimmage in Kenan Stadium.
- Megan Walsh of GoHeels.com writes that scrimmages are proving valuable for the football team.
- Daniel Wilco writes that the UNC softball team never has to worry with ace Lori Spingola in the circle.
- UNC point guard Marcus Paige earned a spot on the Freshman All-American team.
- Swimming coach Rich DeSelm and swimmers Cari Blalock and Tom Luchsinger all picked up accolades as well.
