UNC men's lacrosse leads Virginia 10-7 at halftime

In the first meeting between the No. 3 North Carolina men’s lacrosse team and Virginia the final score was 10-7 in favor of the Tar Heels.

Today, in the ACC Championship game, the teams have reached the exact same score at halftime.

Led by Davey Emala with a first-half hat trick, UNC has a three-goal lead going in to halftime.

With four assists, senior captain Marcus Holman broke the UNC record for most points in a career with 205. The record had stood since 1973.

Six other Tar Heels combined to score UNC’s ten first-half goals.
